Ryanair announce summer schedule
05.02.09
Ryanair gave a timely boost to Durham Tees Valley Airport the day after Scottish rival Flyglobespan pulled out. The budget operator announced that it will operate six extra flights a week from the airport in its summer schedule.
Ryanair will offer three flights a week to Alicante, one of the routes served by Flyglobespan before it withdrew from the airport, and three to Barcelona Girona – in additon to four on its existing route to Dublin. The annoucement follows the success of the same routes to Spain last summer.
