Flyglobespan announce four new routes
06.10.06
Next spring Flyglobespan will launch direct flights to Palma, Faro, Alicante and Malaga from Durham Tees Valley Airport, it announced this morning. The news came as a boost to the airport, after bmibaby's shock pullout from Durham Tees Valley last month.
Durham Tees Valley lost eight destinations when bmibaby axed its services. Last week Ryanair announced from February 13, they would run three flights a week to Barcelona for Durham Tees Valley Airport.
Flyglobespan will initially operate the Alicante, Faro and Palma flights 3 times a week, with the Malaga route operating 4 times each week. Fares to Malaga, Palma and Alicante will be from £39.99 and Faro from £44.99 including taxes.
Flyglobespan recently announced a weekly winter sun flight from Durham Tees Valley to Tenerife commencing on November 7.
