Flyglobespan announce Paphos flights
11.10.07
Flyglobespan has announced that it will launch flights to Paphos from Durham Tees Valley Airport next summer. The news comes after the Scottish no-frills airline announced last month that it was cutting flights to Palma from the airport this winter.
Flyglobespan will operate the flights between Durham Tees and Paphos every Wednesday from April until October 2008. The airline's chairman, Tom Dalrymple, said: 'This new flight shows our commitment to Durham Tees Valley Airport. We are very pleased to be launching another direct route and have high hopes that it will prove a popular choice for holidaymakers from the North East.'
Paphos will be the seventh destination on Flyglobespan’s Summer 2008 flights roster from the airport. It will also be running flights to Alicante, Malaga, Palma, Faro, Jersey and Tenerife.
