Airport awards ATC replacement contract

Durham Tees Valley Airport has awarded a contract to supply and install its replacement ATC Recording System to Precision Applications. The new Veristore System will guarantee compliance with the latest UK CAA regulations, and includes a number of unique features that make it straightforward to operate and maintain.
Voice Communications, Radar Screens and Radar Data will all be recorded and can be replayed synchronously should there be a requirement to investigate an incident. Low cost of ownership and an expected in service life of over 10 years were both factors taken into account when the system was selected.
The new recording system will be installed and commissioned in the next few weeks, to ensure that it is fully operational in time for the busier summer holiday season.
