Flyglobespan launch winter flights programme

Flyglobespan has launched its winter sun flights programme from Durham Tees Valley Airport. The Scotish budget airline will offer regular scheduled services to the popular destinations of Malaga, Alicante and Tenerife.
The airline will operate weekly flights to Tenerife each Friday and to Alicante each Sunday, while flights to Malaga will operate twice a week each Wednesday and Saturday. Fares are from £49.99 and can be booked via www.flyglobespan.com.
Flyglobespan’s Rick Green said: ‘The routes proved to be extremely popular last year for both flight-only and holiday packages. We expect demand to be high again this winter.’
Kerry Quinn, the new Director at Durham Tees Valley Airport, said the airline's decision to continue to operate flights from the region was valued by passengers as they ‘always choose to fly from their local airport provided the right services and destinations are available’.
