Norway flights to take off next week

New flights between Durham Tees Valley Airport and Norway are to be launched.on Monday. Eastern Airways will run the early-morning weekday flight to Bergen, via Aberdeen.
The launch is a lift for the airport, which last year was hit by cuts in services by some budget operators that saw passengers drop by 53%, with jobs slashed plus the airport's operating hours scaled back. Roger Hage, ground services supervisor at Eastern Airways, said the brand new flights are aimed primarily at business travellers working within the oil and gas industry.
