KLM add cargo on flights
26.04.10
KLM has reintroduced a cargo service on its flights into Durham Tees Valley Airport. The Northern Echo reports that the airline is adding freight on 2 of its 3 daily inbound flights to Durham Tees Valley as part of a 6 month trial.
The newspaper reports that local firms have welcomed the move, as it will end the need to import goods via Heathrow, then by road. KLM is offering the freight service in partnership with Camair Freight Services, the only remaining freight forwarding company at Durham Tees Valley.
