New airport flying school announced

A new flying school called Durham Tees Flight Training is to launch at Durham Tees Valley Airport. Operated by North-East businessman David Ripley, it will offer training on a fleet of Cessna 152s and Piper Warriors, as well as aerobatic training or air experience flights.
The flight school's management team includes chief flying instructor Dale Reynolds, who has been instructing for over 12 years, and operations manager Ed Hampartsoumian, a former head of aviation at Leeds University.
